I have bad news SHO lovers.

When we went to restock after the recent Koni sale, we discovered that Koni discontinued not only the long rear inserts, but also the short rear and front inserts:frown: We bought what we could to restock, but it is not much. We have less than 10 sets of struts in stock. When these are gone, they are gone. Koni does not plan to make any more.

I really don't know what to say, but I did want to let everyone know and post the link for those that want to buy any of these last sets.

http://shosource.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=61_3_32&products_id=15

I wish I had better news, but better now than when they are all gone.

Are you looking at other alternatives for performance struts?
Also, i want to thank you for helping me through the whole long order process!!

Touche.. i actually thought of that after i posted and just got back after viewing their site! :)

I am, however, very curious at the warranty thing considering i just dropped some serious coin on a set. i don't want one to break and be SOL and have to drop another grand on struts... Will SHOsource carry a warranty or is that strictly manufacture?

What's SHOSource gonna do? It's not like they can get a hold of many more sets of Konis, so once they run out they can't honor the warranty even if they wanted to. Besides, it's up to the manufacturer to honor it, not SHOSource.

I suspect it will be like the Tokicos with their warranty. In other words, SOL.

We will check with Koni on potential warranty issues. Koni struts are rebuildable and revalvable, so I am cautiously hopefull they will still be able to honor the warranty.

well for selex you can get a tr 60 wich is about 30 40 % stiffer thenb stock strut and with eibach they are made for eibach

and they should handle like koni insert

so there is a replacement and would cost about the same as koni insert

Um.. I think Selex struts are 60% stiffer than stock struts, which means even stiffer than Konis.

Check with Truechoice Racing Services as well, they are an authorized Koni rebuilder and may be willing to freshen SHO Koni cartridges.

http://www.truechoicekoniracingservices.com/products/index.html

Truechoice converted the shocks and struts for my SVO Mustang to double-adjustable, got me shock dyno graphs, etc. They can be slow sometimes during the racing high season, but they do good work.

I doubt we will sell out today, but I don't think they will last long either. We can keep our eye out for your order to make sure you get a set.

Thanks Gary. Truchoice was the company I was thinking of for rebuilding and revalving Konis.

yea I looked into that. For people dont have the receipts, it cost as much as new one to rebuild them. Thats wat the guys said, I said wat the point of making them rebuildable if it cost more than new ones...:nut:
