stored codes...
157-MAF
542-seconadary fuel circuit

i was reading up on the 157.... seems like a dirty MAF could throw this... allthough im pretty sure mine is clean... i will clean it again...

and the 542... just blow that one off? thats what i can gather from other posts....

the codes are new.... as in when i replaced the W/P i had the Battery off for a day....

I blew off my 542 for a while. Decided to go get something to eat one day, car stalled and wouldn't start. It was fun pushing it 1/4 mile over speed bumps back to my house.

Yeah, I'm kind curious now... I have 542 and 543, one is to the computer and the other is to ground IIRC...

542 and 543 are fuel pump circuit related. However, an MTX stall event can and often does trip a 542 code.

Both codes together would be more indicative of a true FP circuit problem. If one or both codes are present and the car seems to be running fine, then erase the codes and see if they comne back.

see, problem is... I dont recall stalling the car between now and when i replaced the w/p a few days ago....

would hard starting throw that code....

and im sure my hard starting has to do with my leaky cam seal.. (CID/Exhaust)
