My rear struts and strut mounts were BAD. It was getting to the point that driving the car felt unsafe. While chatting with Bryan King late Saturday afternoon (the day BEFORE Easter), he told me to drive it down to him and he'd check it out for me. Keep in mind, this was the day before Easter, and this man has a family. I arrived around 6, we drove to parts store to retrieve parts, and started disassembly. The disassembly went quickly and smoothly. Bryan even took the time to weld up a hole that had rotted through the base of one of the strut towers. Alas, no job can go smoothly. The spring compressors were MIA. At first, Bryan offered to let me take his truck (his PERSONAL) vehicle home. I had to work all of the next week. Didn't know when I'd be able to get back down to return the truck and retrieve my car. Rather than just replace the old, worn out units, Bryan drove across town and purchased a new set of compressors. We get back to the shop, and it's now 9 pm. The install went just as smoothly as the disassembly. The car was back on the ground and I was on my way home by 10:30. Rear suspension issues are solved. While I was quite appreciative of Bryan doing this job on such short (no) notice, it became even more apparent of his generosity when his young daughter came outside to play earlier in the evening. I had met Bryan once before, but we do not know one another that well. This man helped me out with no sleep for two days, with two young children in the house, the night before Easter. Top notch work. He even let me get my hands dirty and gave me pointers for future work that may be needed. A great big :thumbs_u: to Bryan King @ King Automotive. I thank you very much Bryan. Look forward to meeting up with you again soon.

Bryan is a great guy to deal with. Last week, I was in dire need of a set of Aluminum SFB's, and he met with Fred Hurder and dropped them off, and I got them from Fred. Top notch class of guys we're dealing with here!

As for the thong, uh, bald cop+thong= Bob running scared.

Bryan's certainly a credit to the community, though he declines the praise more often than not.

The stuff Bryan has done for you guys does not come close to how he has helped me. Most of you know. He goes out of a limb to help people, no doubt about it. It's been said before but can't be said enough. He will offer everything he has, including sleep time. He does too many things for free, while supporting a family and having to pay bills. It's the life of a police officer... take crap from people but still help them however you can....

IMO, it's got nothing to do with being a cop, and everything to do with being a more than decent human being. It's a measure of the man. Some people give, some take, some help & some use. Most people balance that, Bryan's on the give side of things.

Of course, one day Bryan's going to look around and ask himself, "WHY am I beating myself silly?" :D

I honestly feel I'm missing out on meeting a nice person. I like in Texas, which I'm sure is nowhere near ya'll... (no comments please... :finger: ) My dad was a mechanic for 30+ years and he spent alot of time doing pro-bono work, and I was always proud of him. I know Bryan's kids must feel the same. Should I ever get a chance to meet him, I'd be honored to do so.
