I have done some searching and can not find quite what I i am looking for.

My ABS is a mess...The motor goes off roughly every other time you use the breaks. So I just pulled the fuse under the hood to the motor...the abs going off all the time is a good way to wreck the car. So now I have a big ugly ABS light that is on all the time, it matches my door ajar light that is always one. I am not going to fix the abs problem right now(I have an ARMY thing to do in a month and will be gone 7 months) BUT I do want to **** that light. Will unpluging the ABC computer do it?
Thanks

Pull the fuse and take out the light bulb.

If the light is on after the fuse is pulled then it might have been done when the ABS module was powered up. No way to clear it with out a dealer reflash that I know of.

Some codes will burn themselves into the module and the dealer will have to reflash it to re-enable the ABS. Course you have to fix the problem first. This alone may turn off the light.

What's the code that gets flashed at start up?

To "****" the ABS light without repairing, remove the ABS POWER RELAY.

It is mounted outboard of the ABS module on a bracket screwed to the upper radiator support on my 94.
