what about using a line lock but installed in the rear. or two for all 4 tires.
That would work, but it's electrical, not mechanical. That kinda current would drain your battery I think.

hummm i think they also make a mechinacal version too. were you press teh break and then twist a ****.....
hehe you could always set you seat to work as a park break. slide it back engages it. sliding forward disengages hehehe all you need is to hook the cable up hehe :D the only problem now is the distance between you and the airbags.

This would still **** your battery. Probably faster too. When the brake pedal is down, the brakelights are on.

How hard would it be to rig up a hand brake on the passenger side floor, next to the console? It may not look pretty, and would certainly look out of place, but shouldn't be terribly difficult. All you'd have to do is run the cable towards that section of the car and hook it up to the hand brake shrug Making it look like it belongs there would be the hardest part.

Of course, not everybody has built-in crossovers in their decks. :D

Dave
I know what you mean I had an external MTX crossover with an additional Alpine 14-band digital EQ :D , gotta love adjustablity in your sound.

In my opinion I have always went with bass blockers upfront and rear speakers and only use my subs as source of bass, my tweeters and twi-ways did the rest.
