So, when I was fixing my driver side window, I noticed the wiring for my keypad. The keypad does not work, or even light up for that matter.

All wires are connected accept for the last digit (brown wire), it seems to have been either yanked out or cut.

Also, there is a black wire dangling, not sure if that is one of the grounds and could be the reason for the pad not working.

Take a look at the picture below. Do I need to just replace the keypad, and if so, is it even possible?

Thanks.

Yes you can replace it. There should be an electrical connector in the door so it can be disconnected and removed. There is a clip on the left hand side of it that retains the keypad in the door.

I think the connector is green. Ray should have a couple on his eBay store.

I had it disconnected for a while after the **** of a Ford Rep scanned my computer for the HS automotive class and showed my pad # to about 20 students.
