I've got a 93mtx with no keyless/remote entry capability. How difficult is it to take the equipment from a 94atx with the keypad and remote entry? I think a better solution would be an aftermarket alarm, but they're hundreds of dollars. The stuff fromt he junkyard shouldn't cost me more than $50. I did a search and someone said that the wiring harness was completely different on cars that had it and didn't. Has anyone completed this conversion?

Adam Varney added the remote part to his 91. He got the instructions from someone on one of the shotimes mailing lists. I'm not sure if he already had the keypad or not, or if not having that makes it a lot harder. But Adam should have the instructions.

Who is this Adam Varney guy, and where does he live? I've got available remote entry modules at cheap disposal in the yard and need guidance. I wonder how hard it is to find the remote units. I found some listed on ebay, but I no longer have an account there. I refused to pay the listing fees for my car after it didn't sell. I also threatened someone after they got pissy for me using their auction picture. I had the same item for sale. I don't know what the big deal was.
