I just put new tires on my 1990 SHO. Went from 215-65-15 to 215-60-15. Now it seems like when the speedometer reads 70, it doesn't feel as fast as 70 used to.

Is it just because the new tires ride better, or could the minute fraction of an inch in tire height cause a change in the speedometer reading?

The smaller diameter tire will cause your speedo to read higher than your actual speed.
I would have went with a 225/60/15.
