Really like it a lot. The sound is awesome!! Guaranteed horsepower increase, they tested a 2011 and picked up 12HP. I think it looks great, too. I was a little disappointed it took them so long to come out with it. But I've had K&N's on everything I've owned, so I held out. Glad I did!

Guaranteed HP from K & N means dyno'd at WOT at a peak value, not across the curve. The caveat is those intakes have lower torque and HP than stock at lower RPM's, where the engine lives most of it's life; and tip in throttle response is reduced too. I had one on my Hemi and dumped it, as drivability is much better with the stock airbox. Maybe the ecoboost is not affected as much, so let us know how it feels compared to stock.

I've talked multiple times with James from tuningbyjames.com and with his tunes there is trouble with not using the factory airbox, i've kept my K&N i have noticed a few times trouble with shifting once i put the factory airbox back on no problems in the world, be careful with the cold air intake.

No problems with tuning, shifting, or anything else for that matter with my combination AiRaid CAI and LMS tunes.....

34K strong on both..... :woo-hoo:

Garrett, perhaps you should look into a different tuner instead of this James person.

The K&N looks like a decent set up there Fordnatic. Good luck with the results.

It looks much like my custom (as in home made) CAI using RotoFab J pipe and AEM filter with K & N filter cover. May be all visual fluff... though my flex did OK at strip! Always wondered how stock box + drop in K & N would have done.

yea no kidding, im not trashing your choice of tuners but that said, I would question a tuner that cant account for the use of aftermarket intakes........go to LMS and you will not be disappointed.

BTW i have the K/N on my SHO and i love it and would NEVER go back to that big bulky box that they call an intake for a sport car.

Looks great! I didnt even know this was out, I like that they replaced the stock tube. Not sure if that tube makes a difference but mine looks restrictive. Airaid kit just takes the filter box out and puts cone filter in.

3rd on the tune. There isnt an MAF in these cars, not sure how the cold air kit is going to hurt anything without an MAF sensor. No issues with a cone filter and my LMS tune.
