Took advantage of the $399 sale price. Asked him to include tunes for 87, 89, 91 and 93 octane. I'll be running the lower octane tunes until this crappy Minnesota winter is over. :(

Did he charge extra for the lower octane tunes??? My tuner has Stock, 91, 93 only. It really wakes the car up, and when you keep your foot out of it (if you can) mileage does not take any hit whatsoever. Awesome!!!

He said he'd program any octane I'd like for no charge. He provides free tuning updates for any future mods I'd make too.

found it, thanks. Curious as to why you would run the lower octane tune in winter? Lower HP #s for better snow/ice traction?

Finally a day where it isn't 50 below zero! I did the initial marrying of the SCT to my SHO and am just waiting to hear from Torrie with the custom tunes. Can't wait!

Well since the highest octane I found around here was 92 I had Torrie send 87, 89, 91 and 92 octane tunes. The 91 and 92 tunes are labeled 'Boost' tunes. Initially running the 91 octane tune even though I filled up with 92.

Initial icy, slushy road impressions are the car shifts way quicker - I love it. Since the roads are crappy there's no way I can test the performance yet but just driving normally I can tell there's an improvement in power.

Can't wait for dry roads and better weather!

Do you have ethanol in the gasoline available in your area? We are year-round 10% in MD. It is a wise choice to go with the 91 tune, as labeled 92 octane fuel that has ethanol may actually be closer to 91 in practice.

Yeah, most of the gas here is an ethanol blend. But, a few stations sell 91 that's pure gasoline. Next time I fill up (and from now on) that's what I'll be getting.

Today the roads were drier than yesterday. Holy cow does the tune wake the car up! I almost scared the crap out of myself the first time I stomped on it from a stop. This thing is silly fast now!

Sweet! How hard was it to install the dp's?

Checked with Torrie yesterday, he had a new revision to my 93 tune. New tune feels stronger with better shifting. Can't be more impressed with Torrie's service and tunes.

Took a coworker about 30-45 minutes. PPE engineering DP's they were on special. It did take a good month to come in.
