SHO NUFF!!!
just got a 91 mtx. had a very bad misfire on the drive home 0-60 in 3 miles! got home, at night, noticed spark under the rear of the intake, removed upper intake, found 2 plug wires not fully on spark plugs. the first one pushed down great and mated with the valve cover. the sec left a small gap between the cover and wire boot. this plug with also was discolored like water or steam had been in there for some time. i havent quite gotten the hang of the test where it checks each cylinder. now it seems to be down only 1 cylinder. starting it with the #2 wire off doesnt seem to change much.
should i just replace the wires and plugs and go about my busness or should i be worried about this further.
its a 91 mtx with 135k on the clock, im a ase certified mechanic by trade but want hints on what the SHO gods think. im always up for learning
