Welcome, and congrats! What yr SHO?

Pretty much ALL the fluids are due, so coolant, brake fluid, RDU fluid in addition. You have checked the turbo piping/intercooler to see if there is pooling oil/crud? Checked the undersides of the hoses for grime (indicative of a possible split)? Clean the MAP sensors with MAF/electronics cleaner. Verify the knock sensor wiring is not rubbing against the block, particularly on a 2010-12, but sometimes on a 2013+ as well. Check the struts/shocks for signs of seeping oil, that could mean a replacement will be needed in the near future.

Going through TSBs and Recalls for the SHO can also help familiarize you with the What If and How To you may need to know in the future. Check outstanding FSAs/recalls for your SHO at https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/maintenance/recalls.html

Keep in mind the 2010's had issues with the rear turbo I believe, be sure to have that one checked very well.

My guess is like mine had, leaking oil from the rear turbo. On mine I would drive the car so the engine was warm, come to a stop sign, and then smell burning oil. It was a little bit of oil leaking from the rear turbo and down onto the exhaust. You should be able to get under the car and look around with a light to see if oil is leaking from the turbo. Mine leaked where the turbo housing/case came together.

Here is what my local dealer says:
1. Transmission drain and refill and PTU (if needed): 202
2. TCU drain and refill: $135

Says PTU is a part of transmission and is included if the oil is bad. Does that sound right?

My plan of action:
1. Spark plugs and radiator flush from my local mechanic
2. Air filter and cabin filter myself
3. Trans/PTU/TCU from dealer or should I try AAMCO?

Wouldn't be surprised if the dealer backs out of serviding the PTU and maybe the RDU. They tend to do that last minute. If they do back out, try a reputable trans shop, AAMCO or not. Or a BG shop that does driveline servicing. They won't be able to FLUSH the differentials, but can certainly do drains & fills.

Do #1 yourself, too.

I can't endorse any shop, AAMCO or otherwise, without knowing their reputation. The AAMCO here has been around forever and has a very solid reputation. They charged me $275 for transmission, PTU and RTU.

Looks like I will get everything done by my local mechanic. Any tips on rdu and ptu? I will be working in the car myself with the mechanic

There are HOWTOs on the PTU & RDU fluid xchange here
http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,1706.0.html
http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,1708.0.html

Install the updated PTU vent
http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,6849.0.html

Expect a few rounds of effort with the PTU fluid, but I hope not. It can get super gunky and solidified, in which case 3-4 changes with short amount of driving in between should do the trick.

RDU fluid rarely gives anybody hiccups, so with any luck, it should be one and done.

Use quality full synthetic fluids. Mobil1 is readily available, I think Royal Purple is also. Amsoil, if you can stand their MLM structure, LOL.

Thank you. I plan to do the spark plugs transmission rdu ptu air filter brake fluid radiator fluid. Should I just buy the plugs from the dealer or rock auto? I have never gapped plugs. Is it necessary?

Up to you, if you have time for the shipping, get them from RockAuto, at almost 1/2 price. I believe the Motorcraft part number is SP534. Most people are saying they come pre-gapped at the factory at 0.030 nowadays, doesn't hurt to check (carefully), I would not regap if they are close to each other. If your SHO is going to be tuned, then you would want to make sure the plug gaps comply with tuner's recommendations.

An alternate would be to install NGK Iridium plugs. 97177 P/N. I believe that is what bpd runs in his SHO as well?

The other NGK plug RockAuto lists is one step colder, NGK LTR6AI-9 / 96780. Not really needed unless you are running a highpower application.

Thank you for the input. I did a drain and refill on the transmission using oil from the dealership. Took about 5.5 quarts. I was able to get 12 ounces from the ptu and replaced it with mobil one. I was able to get 24 ounces from the rdu. Next thing is the spark plugs
