Is there anyone interested in going to Grandview Speedway for a night of NASCAR modifieds and Late Model stock cars? There will bee a 30 lap modified main event and a 40 lap main for the Late Models along with the usual heat races, last chance qualifiers, and cash dashes for heat winners. This race will be the big race for the Late Models as there normal main is 20 laps. There will also be an awesome fireworks display at the end of the night.
Grandview speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt track located near Pottstown.
If there is any interest, we could bring out the sandwich fixins and have a pic-a-nic dinner before the show begins. Racing starts at 7:30 and should continue until midnight. Pic-a-nic should be around 5 ish.
If you would like to come, just give a yell and let me know what food item you could bring. We’ll need things like chips, drinks, sandwich stuff, etc. As I recall, tickets were $18 last year. This is higher than on a normal night, but that pays for fireworks and higher payouts for the late model purse.
