Just bought a big resonator lol. Car is maximum raspy. Probably the worst sounding car I've ever heard. Function over form but damn it sounds like a shit box so gotta fix that at least a little. Not that it isn't a shit box just that this will make it a little less ****** ha! In full boost it sounds okay and idle to 2k rpm sounds fine. 2500-4500 full trumpet though!

Pardon the junk photo but found a source of my oil leak. New front main got pinched at some point and thus was leaking. Also got with Matt at gearhead and he was able to diagnose a bad boost solenoid so installed a new one of those as well!

New main seal $7
New crank bolt $3
New boost solenoid $45

Righteous!! Does that mean it’s time to turn up the boost? Maybe 25+ psi? Maybe a 4 wheel burnout to show off the GH3r turbos capabilities? Inquiring minds and those vicariously living through you want to know.
Was actually surprised to find the power pulls on 93 we were doing were only 45% throttle so hopefully this solves that issue

So FYI the crank seal in the picture is installed backwards! Live and learned that lesson! Otherwise that's been done correctly now and onto e30 tuning! About 370 miles on the motor now and going to do a filter swap probably in the next 100 miles just to make sure it's moving oil effectively! Just yeet that one off and slap another on and top off the oil as the oil should be in plenty good shape considering it's only got a couple hundred miles on it. Feels pretty good on e30 so far considering just on a base e30 tune now.
