I don't know if Joe Aubertin is still doing any kind of business, but after making plenty of attempts to get in touch with him so he could fix a problem, he stopped all communications with me, and has now received a THUMBS DOWN.
This happened a long time ago, but he really ****** me off, so here goes.
I bought a set of rotors and calipers off him, and they came in 2 boxes. One had 2 rotors and the other had 1 caliper. I told him about the problem, and he was certain that he had put both calipers in there. He supposedly did all this checking with UPS to see if THEY thought he put 2 in the box, and after all these "encouraging" e-mails over a span of a few months, he failed to produce either a caliper or $50. After a while, his e-mail stopped working, and I never heard from him again. I kept making efforts to get in touch with him, in Forum threads and on TechSHO and the like, saying things like, "Hey Joe, pleas call/e-mail me." without saying why on the forums.
Well, now it's official. You're off my Christmas list.
If you happen to see this, e-mail me at [email protected] and if I either get my caliper or $50, I'll take back all the bad things I'm currently thinking about the way you handled that.
