i could get a jet chip for my 99 for $250. anyone have any experience with a jet chip in thier sho?
by the way, i got my flowmasters installed and ripped off the sax-intake silencer, and the car RIPSSSSSS. i also got new yoko avid v4s tires put on (had some money from graduation)
anyone know anything about the chip? or any other cheap mod i should look into? ford transmissions are garbage (stock) which is why i want the chip (to alter shift points at least)

thanx

Much better off getting an SCT chip or flasher. An SCT chip, customized for your car and needs, probably wouldn't be much more than the $250 you're looking at. Torrie at FPN and Doug at FPS are both dealers.

I've had a Jet Chip first, and they are horrible. I've had an American Motorsport microtuner with 3 programs, it was ok. I have an FPS Chip in my SHO and it's by far the best chip I have had without a doubt. The chip is better than all 3 programs combined on the tuner I had.

That's my opinion.

Theres a group buy right now through Doug Lewis at FPS for the SCT X Calibrator flasher. he custom tunes it too your car, what ever you like. The last group buy was very sucessfull and it seems the people love them.

Check out the performance upgrade section for the info. The more people the better deal we all get.

costs a little more, but a much better value
