Hey guys, i am having my slicers repainted and that requires having all the wheels taken off my car. Where can i jack up my car and then put it on stands in the rear? I know where to put them tin the front, just not the rear. Thanks!

Directly in front of the rear wheels there is a flat jacking point. You will need to find a different place to jack the car from but that jack point is where you want to put the stands. Do you have an H-brace in the rear? The H-brace is the perfect jack point to get both rear wheels off the ground at the same time. If you dont have the H-brace then you can put a block of wood on the jack and still get the car up from the same spot between the rear control arms.

To post pictures here just copy the code from photobucket and paste it here in the reply box.

The first photo shows the jacking point i was referring to. The second one shows where the H-brace would be if you had one.

Do you have a picture of how you position the block of wood?

i hope we are talking about floor jack not carjack points. I have a 2 ton floor jack ,I was wondering if that would qualify as a carjack or shoplift.

The bottom picture above circled in red. There is a stamped box where the rear arms attach from the rear spindle. The box is, I guess hollow is a fair description, where you could jack the rear at the middle. However you might bend the 'box' area there so you put a small piece of 2x4 to spread the load across it. If you have an H brace that bolts into the middle of the box area, it provides a solid area to place the jack in the otherwise 'hollow' middle.

No, it is advertised as a 1.5 ton floor jack, but it only weighs 43 lbs-wtf. lol.
I went in there one time and tried to pick one up, and I couldn't, it turns out it was zip tied to the display thing.
At first I was thinking- "Wow there is no way I am going to buy one of these if I can't even move it."
