Got my SHO back from the shop. First time in 15 years driving it. It needs some more tuning and work, but i'll worry about that later. The guys at the shop were having issues when tuning going beyond 7psi, so there is a ton of power yet to get out of this. Even as is, 230 at the wheels, its unbelievably fast. Insanely unrefined, its a driving experience that takes all of your attention.

Struggling with the shifts though. 15ish years ago at the start of the rebuild I bought a ceramic flywheel...or clutch...I forget. Something that would handle the horsepower i was expecting ....I was warned it would impact drivability. I need to do a bit of experimenting with it....I think I'm being overly cautious with the shifts combined with 15 years of rust not driving a stick.

I'll post some pictures after a full blown detail when i put it away for winter in the next few weeks.

Started detailing the engine the other day to put it away for winter. Sprayed on some soapy water, hit it with a brush to work it, then used the steam cleaner, then dried with a cloth. Some areas needed a second pass.

For any vintage trailer enthusiasts...you can see our 1974 Canadian made boler parked beside it.

230 at the wheels? is that a typo?

My Blue 95 is N/A and does 285 on a Mustang Dyno at the wheels.
My boosted SHO does 18psi at 7k. Haven't had it Dyno'd yet but i'm being told by my tuner to expect mid 500+.
