6th motor SHO
It WAS NOT on fire this time
this time it was me using the clutch excessively
which soon would have led to it starting on fire...
i decided to do a little rust removal
i wire wheeled the trans mount and painted it along with a little of the subframe (my wire wheel all flew apart)

and cleaned the trans a little while dan made a cold air intake - no pictures for he decided to delete this camera (aftermath in background)

then my fix rather than waiting to purchase a new clutch fork :
i filed away both sides until the micrometer (which reads down to a hundred-thousandth of an inch) said they were the same

the fix appears to have worked, as to the fact it no longer sounds like rod knock when in neutral
