So I was sitting on the porcelain throne this evening, and a thought occurred to me. Would the PTU from the Focus RS fit in the SHO? Now I have never seen the underside of the RS, but I imagine as another FWD platform with a transverse turbocharged engine, the architecture must be at least similar. Not only that, but the RS's power figures are remarkably similar to the SHOs. Has this been contemplated before? And if possible, does this mean the SHO could also have a "drift mode"? Again, this was just a bathroom fantasy, but I figured I would post to see if there was any merit to this.

No...the AWD system in the Focus RS is completely different., not even remotely similar.
