Is this normal rear defrost pattern?

It was foggy this morning so I ran the rear defogger/demister. Although I can see three grid lines at the top, they don't do anything to clear the window, unlike my Mustang.

I believe that is the radio antenna

Well that would make sense for why it doesn't defog then.

I was curious because my Mustang defogged all the way up (and was quicker as well), and my wife's Lincoln MKZ every line defogs all the way up.

Read the words on the glass? An arrow points up says antenna. The other does not. I forget what it says. My 2016 has this printed on the glass. But your defroat is working properly

Thanks, I went out to take a look - and there is a little "tag" on the glass, arrow pointing up for antenna and one down for defog or something. Never noticed that there was anything written there.

I didn't either until another tech was diagnosing why the top grid wasn't defrosting... DOH!
