...go all the way down? I would imagine that I'd need to make a longer track for the windows or something, but it'd be really nice if I could make them go all the way down. Any ideas?

I haven't actually had mine apart but I am told that its not possible because of the way the door curves of course they tell you instead that its a safety feature :) but I wondered about this because in the movie Road Trip the SLO they had they showed many shots of it with the rear windows all the way down

In my old Crown Vic they went all the way down too, and the doors are similar shape. Granted, the CV was bigger, but still. Maybe one of these days I'll just have to go out there and tear one of the doors apart to check it out, since it'd be nice to have the extra air flow through the car (I do ONLY congested city driving). Plus, if anyone in my backseat wants to get out THAT bad, it'd be a lot easier to just pull up the lock **** and open the door rather than try jumping out the window wink

I have had my doors apart and the glass out of the car. They cannot go any lower. The glass does not fit physically into the door because of the rear wheel ****.

I'm glad someone else had some good luck asking this question. Last time I tried it all I got one one smart-ass reply simply saying it wasn't possible.
