Is there a light or anything for O/D?

I'm just curious since on my 93 SHO I hit the O/D button nothing happens really, no light on the dash. This is my first automatic and I was just curious.

There is a light that is supposed to light up when O/D is off. I believe it says "O/D off".

I don't seem to have one on. Is there any different feeling with the O/D on (I'm guessing more RPM's as I'm on the gas).

Would it just be a sensor if its not coming on? My transmission was replaced at one point before I purchased it.

Yeah I too have a 93 atx, bought it in March of last year. March to October O/D light works fine. October to Febuary O/D light is out. Came back on a couple weeks ago while i was messing around -- with the O/D button. .

mine was doing the same wires are broke you have to remove center concole cover to find them .

Dido....if you remove the center council and trace the wires that go to the button on the shifter I am 99.9% positive you will find a broken wire.
