Is there a January/Kildares Meet this year??

Is there going to be another meet in january??? Last year we had a pretty good turnout at kildare's. Just wondering if this is going to happen in the new year. I know it is getting close so I figurered I would mention it. If there is then awesome. Hopefuly we can get as many people as last time.

I believe Mike (PAracer) intends to organize another meet for 2008. This will be the 4th annual event at Kildare's. The date is always as soon after January 1 as possible, and is planned to coincide with local college vacation days. Hey, after all, he is a college student and he is the organizer of the event.

Each Kildare's event has seen a great turnout. Folks have driven from southern Delaware, Maryland, northern New Jersey and all around PA. The 2007 event totaled at count 17 SHOs and 28 attendees, on a 70 degree day!

Suggestions for alternate locations are welcome, but this place is hard to beat. The restaurant is located at the confluence of several major highways.

We sure will be having a January 2008 meet. At the moment, it looks like either January 5th or 6th. We'll take a vote as the time gets closer.

I wonder if we can get a few long distance commuters this year?

Mall
Valley Forge Historic Site
Philly
Arnold's Go Karts
The Millville track is a decent drive away, but not too bad.

We could easily do Kildare's on Saturday, then break so that people can enjoy the area's attractions. Meet up on Sunday for Arnold's and a tour of Valley Forge.

believe me if i was home and not at school, i would NOT be on a computer. A wrench is in my hand almost 24/7 at home.
