Is my problem definitely subframe bushings?

Wanna verify the specifics and make sure thats my problem.. There is a pop or clunk coming from right under, maybe slightly in front of, my feet on the drivers side. Happens mostly when either hard braking or hard accelleration after a stop. It has gotten progressively worse over the past month or two..

Likely subframe? Or maybe a tie rod or control arm or ball joint?

Any online pics of the subframe bushing install or of a bad bushing for comparison? Or of bad control arms, tie rods or ball joints?

Thanks for the help

Sway bar end links you mean? Just to be sure.

And was the "no" a reply to "is it tie rod or control arm or ball joint?" meaning its none of those?

Thanks

To me it sounds like the subframe bushings. It wouldn't hurt to replace them even if they're not really the problem. Mine were done at 50k miles. They're pretty easy to change yourself.

I went with Aluminums, and it took some of the noise I had (which is VERY similar to what you're talking about). I also had some noise coming on when I went over cracks in the road. Which later I found out were my ball joints.

Good Luck!

If you replace the bushings go with Aluminum. Unless you don't want the hassle of checking em every so often.

I've had mine in for the past 3-4K miles... They haven't lost torque since day 1 ;)

I had a pop or a snap under hard breaking. It sounded a lot like what your'e experiencing. Mine noise was from reusing the front controll arm bolt. The bolt looses it's torque capacity once it is loosened. Every time I would brake hard, the LCA would snap back a hair making the noise. Check the torque on the bolt if you know it has not ever been reused. If your'e not sure, replace both front LCA bolts.

Nik97, your SHO is one of the hottest I have seen! What are you lowered with & how did you tint the headlights?

And thanks for the tip on the suspension
