No it's not. The fuel cap should state nothing greater than E20. The high pressure fuel pump on the SHO run out of capacity on E85 which is why you can't run it (and why it isn't flex fuel). What does the E350 have to do with it out of curiosity? It's an entirely different vehicle.

Thank you for your reply EcoBoostSHO,
After reading many many posts here and the ecoboost site/ I thought that the SHO would make excellent use of E85.
Additionally, I thought that maybe Flex fuel had become so common that they just stopped putting on the emblem for my SHO.
I'm guessing there is a Fuel pump upgrade to allow E85???

No unfortunately there is not an upgrade. You can add Methanol injection or I believe someone sells a supplemental port injection. Lots of guys run Methanol to supplement the fueling issues on this platform.

P.S. I have only had my fuel door open one time and it was nighttime.

I like Alky Controls meth injection kits a lot better than Snow's kits.

Alky Control actually makes them to blend in with the car instead of looking like an add on.

I believe Livernois is an Alky Control vendor.

The Snow kits can also be installed to blend with the car. It's all a matter of how much effort someone takes to install it in their vehicle. Someone could make either kit look like an add on. Someone could almost completely hide either kit. It's all a mater of how the installer installs either kit.

FACT: Snow kits are more of a universal type kit using add on alky resovoirs(for example). If u want a kit that looks like it was OEM,it will take a bit of "custom" work and not following the instructions exactly.

Alky Control kits are MADE to look OEM. Most time using the windsheild washer resovoir as the meth tank. If you want a kit that looks like it's an OEM install, simply follow the instructions!!!!

I've been using methanol injection for close to 15 years, back when there were only 1 kit maker for the masses(SMC)no kits would handle 100% meth, and no progressive controllers so they were a bitch to tune out the rich bog when the alky hit.

I run alky kits on both my GN's(Alky Control),my Cummins(Snow MPG Max kit)and my Mercedes(Coolingmist).

I've installed several Alky Control,Snow,Coolingmist, and Devils Own kits over the years......and I am biased towards Alky Control for a reliable kit that looks OEM and performs flawlessly under all kinds of conditions, and is easy to use, install, and maintain.

These reasons are EXACTLY why after all of the years we spent testing we only use AlkyControl as well! We also have a few exclusive kits for varied platforms VIA this partnership!

Seriously, what does it matter, you writing a book.
Hello BamSHO,
Not writing a book. It took me 3-4 months to find my SHO and the company name came up many times in my search of information.
Originally I thought with a name like Livernois they might be close to me as I live in Illinois. After posting questions here I discovered that L.M. is in Michigan.
It's like looking at a Personal License Plate and trying to figure out what it says.
Thanks for asking!

3-4 months, took me over a year to get my '12, but unlike you, I did a lot a reading post, taking notes. Sounds like you better do more research.
