I have been reading in various sho forums and how they do things. One particular tuning company has the owners removing the 3rd cat and resonator. IS this legal, is this something that normally gets done? thanks for the input.

I have my 3rd cat gone, inspection garages haven't said anything, but I'm also running catted downpipes too, Also still have factory middle section on my car too.

What is the sound like with the cat removal?
I want to do that but only if it will increase the sound level...

No might be little more deeper at idle, nothing terrible. Wife and daughter never complain. This whole was swapped over from my 2012 to 2013.
