actually, you don't need splicing or any insane wiring at all with a stock system. whether you have jbl or premium sound the casette deck is the same for both. as long as you don't have the addon cd player (which is crappy anyways) or the cd changer in the trunk you should be able to hook it right up using an aftermarket adapter made by P.E.I., Peripheral, or PAC, just to name a few. they make interfaces that plug into the back of the cassette where the jumper is and the other end plugs right into your ipod dock connector. if you have any of the cd units you can just disconnect them since the ipod is way better anyways. the interfaces run around $50 (just a little over an ipod fm modulator anyways). i can't remember if you have to run their power from the cigarette lighter/splice or they run off the cassette deck. either way, it's easier than messing around with splices and you can take it out easily later and use it in another car.
