I can't believe I've been on this forum for so many years and never before noticed there is an Iowa club/site.

I'm in Cedar Rapids and currently on my 3rd SHO. Ever since seeing my uncle's 1991, then under the hood, I've been a fan of the SHO. I bought a 1993 ATX in 2001, then later bought a 1998 V8. Eventually when the 2010 came out I decided it was time to have a new SHO and bought my 2011 PP new in May 2010. This is definitely my favorite of the SHOs.

It's worth a try, but could be a challenge to find a date that works for almost everyone. I know my weekends are pretty close to booked through the summer at least.

I'm sure we could get together some time with enough notice. Mike Welsh in North Liberty would join us I'm sure. Might also get the guy in Dubuque I sold my 95 to in April. I have his phone # and could contact him that way, don't think he's on the list. My son Spencer would join us if it's relatively close to us in Des Moines. He's got a 2 year old so travel isn't so fun. Even if we have to wait til September, that's OK.

Just picked up the V8MTX from Scott in Ohio, so need to add that one to the signature.

Hey there's a new SHO owner down in Burlington.

Bought a barely running 95 MTX for fun, it seemed right up my alley. I have a Bimmer ///M Roadster for the sun. I bought the SHO to drive in the snow! I'd love to be a part of this community. Soon to be new owner of a 2011 SHO every option except PP. I live in Dubuque and travel all over the state. Cant wait til this sleeper rolls its first victim. I will be adding a tune and a cold air intake along with tinting the windows.

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your 2011 as much as I enjoy mine. If picking it up from a dealership, be sure to check the passenger side heat to make sure it works. The same issue is causing the passenger side heat to not work on both my 2011 SHO and my wife's 2010 MKT EcoBoost. I fixed my SHO but have not tackled the MKT yet.
