Intermittent stalling

my car has a few problems. Lately, it has been stalling out. it has been happening more and more frequently. It usually happens when the cars revs drop, like when I take my foot off the gas. or when I am turning a corner, which is a pain because I lose power steering. I dont get a stutter or anything, it just stalls out and all my warning lights come on. CEL, oil light, all that crap. It usually starts right back up, but sometimes I have to sit for a minute or two. Thi sproblem is getting worse. I have thought it was maybe the CPS or the fuel pump. So I am in the process of getting a new fuel pump and CPS. But due to some legal issues I am a bit short on cash at the moment. So I kinf of have to choose between the two of them. either the CPS or the fuel pump.

If I get the fuel pump, I am going to go with either the 190lph or the 250lph pump. If I get either of those, can I just drop them in? Or will I also have to upgrade the injectors or anything else like that?

Both are about the same price, so I can get one or the other. what are your suggestions for this?

You would probably be well served by checking the EEC codes. I could guess too, but I would rather have the engine tell me what is happening. Yes, it could be the fuel pump or the CPS, the idle air control valve or even an idle speed program that need to be reset.

If you replace the fuel pump, the 190lph pump is more than enough for all mods on a normally aspirated SHO engine. You will have to cut the metal discharge line to allow the longer pump to fit.
