intermittent cruise control

I have 92 sho mtx the cruise seems to work intermittently when it's cooler or I go through shadey area the cruise works great.... if it's blazing hot the cruise doesn't like to work.

Any ideas? Would it be the cruise module itself?

Once it's on, does it stay on? Have you checked the vacuum line to the diaphram?

oooo I just read something about the brake switch, which I'm having trouble with (need to change and have the part just haven't done it yet)

So I bet that is what's causing it
