Interior electrical problems...

First, the pass. side rear window stopped working, and then a week later, it started working again. It switches from working to not-working about every other week. The pass. side front window only works from the master control on the driver door now, the cig. lighter stopped working -- and won't accept a cell charger, so it is not working on the female side. Also, the hazard lights stopped working, but the blinkers work -- although they are wierd too -- if the car sits all day in the sun, the blinkers flash about 10 times faster than they do after it sits overnight, or in the shade, and all of them work. Also, if the car sits in the shade all day, the A/C blows ice cold, but if it sits in the sun, it takes long to get cold, and won't blow cold at hwy speeds, but I think it just needs to be recharged.

Where do I even start to find out the problem(s)? All of this stuff just happened in the last month.

Sounds like my 95 MTX. My pass side window does not work; my stock radio/CD stoped working. I have smoething that sounds like blinker clicking non stop somewhere inside my dash. I found a blown fuse, changed it and nothing seemed to happen. My outside temp told me is was 65 today when my home state of maryland was under a heat warning. It reached at least 90! AC does not work and my alarm goes nuts every now and then and wont let me start the car. I am new to SHOs. I really like the car but it came with a gremlin. It sure would be nice if we had resources we could use to learn how to find and fix this electrical problems! If anyone knows where I could go to learn more about this subject please let me know.

In the GEN 1-2 "How do I" section. There are wire diagrams for up to '97.

Well, that's your problem right there- you can never count on anything working out right with the female side. They are a divine mystery! :laugh_ti:
