I've been talking with Josh at SHO Nut and was told that if 5 people want to buy Vortech superchargers, then we will get 10% off. I will be buying one regardless, do we have any interest from anyone else?

It will be just the supercharger... I have the rest of the kit from SS(tubing, brackets, and oil feed). I'll have to talk to Beth about posting. I wouldn't think I would have to pay a group buy as I think Josh is already a sponsor. But I could be wrong. I'll be back with details soon.

DO IT...... DO IT........

If I had the money I'd be in, does that count :D I'll talk to some people around here and see if they got the cash laying around, I'm guessing these will be the S-Trims or the T-Trims? About $1,500 a piece?

Beth said it was okay.... I'll ask her to post it in the group buy section, but for now, this is quoted directly from Josh.

Right now, from SHO Shop, you can purchase all the piping, brackets and such. If you just and to do like I am an pick up the piping, brackets, oil feed and use your own fuelp pump, MAF, injectors, you can build your kit here.

"This basic kit is nice for someone wanting to use slightly different
components in their kit. Thus you take their kit, and you add the blower,
48 lb ACCEL injectors, I/C, FPR kit, non-******* Lightning MAF/harness
adaptor and TwEECer RT from us, a fuel pump from APE, filter from Summit,
possibly a Boost-a-pump kit from Kenne-Bell, and you are off to the races.

Our pricing on Vortech blowers, assuming minimum 5 purchasers, is:
V-2 (quiet, SQ), standard duty, CCW, straight discharge, satin (requires
pulley+pulley retainer assembly):
S, SC, and E-trims, $1750 shipped (list is $1,945.95 + shipping)
T-trim $1840 shipped (this is a new model, not listed anywhere else but
here - a V-1 HD T-trim is $2,501.95 + shipping)

If you want polished, you are at:
S, SC, and E-trims, $1855 shipped (list is $2,063.95 + shipping)
T-trim $1948 shipped (this is a new model, not listed anywhere else but
here - a polished V-1 HD T-trim is $2,618.95 + shipping)

You'll also need:
Pulley Retainer Assembly, Supercharger Drive, 6-Rib (Required for 6-Rib S/C
Drive Pulleys) $7

Plus your choice of (all $60):
Supercharger Pulley, 3.125", 6-Rib
Supercharger Pulley, 3.25", 6-Rib
Supercharger Pulley, 3.33", 6-Rib
Supercharger Pulley, 3.48", 6-Rib

and here:
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/support/s-trim_map.html

S and T combined are here:
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/support/s_vs_t-trim_map.html

A spec chart is here:
http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/units/performance.html

We can also upgrade your V-2 S-trim to any of the above trims. For example,
the T-trim upgrade is $830 + shipping (no minimum quantity) required. Since
the gear case is the same for both the V-2 S-trim and V-2 T-trim, YOUR gear
case is used for the upgrade, and you get your unit back."

I am actually planning on buying in December or January, but I could hold off for a little bit if we have SERIOUS interest. I honestly think this is an EXCELLENT deal! I really don't need the SC until March or so, but let me know what you guys think.

Please, no "if I had the money" posts. I'd like to stay on topic with actual interested buyers. Thank you.

Jason, I am interested in getting a S/C kit but March sounds better to me. Dont hold up for me however do what you have to do because the S/C for me will just sit in storage until Sept. of 06 when I get stateside again. The 10% will make me jump sooner, however. Keep me posted please. Jason :salute:

For people pricing together the kit, how much is all the random things from SS... And does anyone think they may actually get the parts from them?

So if you people aren't going to buy all the other SC parts from them, what exactly are you going to do. It don't seem to far fetched to make your own piping, and brackets to hold up the SC, but getting it all right for the belt, I mean if it's sligthly off wouldn't that make a big deal?
