New to this group, New to SHO Engines and new to Ford's, I've been a Chevy man all my life. I recently purchased a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo replica (of Course). It came with a rebuilt 1990 3.0 SHO motor Looking to add twin turbo's. I didn't want the normal V8 sound out of this car as many replicas have the small bock chevy's in them. I've been reading up on these engines and I'm looking forward to seeing how this combination will work. Any advise or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

Welcome.

After reading the first three sentences I thought "LS swap" and you quashed that thought quickly!

I'm not sure if anyone has done a twin turbo before on the V6. Superchargers and single turbos certainly. Curious to see where this goes.

Do you have any info on the health and maintenance status of the engine?

All I was told was that it's a fresh rebuild. Oil on the dipstick looks new, but that's it.

With plans for a twin turbo setup I would think it mandatory to run forged engine internals?
The SHO was only NA from Ford so I would want forged crank, rods and pistons AND what compression ratio does the engine have? If stock it needs to be lowered.

Next you better plan on some stout charge air cooling so that means a large inter cooler setup.

Post some pictures as that will be one radical engine when your done!
