My 2014 SHO is finally about roll out of it's Ford ESP warranty. It has 120k miles, well maintained. Just got the water pump and timing chain done. New factory turbos about 15k miles ago. I'm about to start doing the mods I've been wanting for years. I already ordered the afe intake, H&R springs, White line rear sway bar, and just for fun the Boomba BOV spacers. I'm about to pull the trigger on the Unleashed SHO power package. Before I do, I've read a lot of positive reviews on the Gearhead intercooler and picking up some downpipes. But I usually see that used with people also running aftermarket turbos, methanol, etc. I don't have any plans to go that crazy. I'm not even planning on changing the exhaust system, since there doesn't seem to be a real power gain. But if the intercooler and downpipes are truly worth it for my application, I don't mind spending the money upfront. That way the car gets tuned once and done. The car is mostly a weekend warrior. Once in a while the university I teach at sets up an event where you can race your professor at the local 1/8 track. But those days are probably the hardest the car runs consistently in the whole year. What do you all think?

Thanks for all your guys help.

I would go with a GH tune over Unleashed 100pct. GHT are fast and reliable.

Downpipes and Intercooler are a great power adders. The XDI fuel pump makes a big difference also.

Methanol is actually great for an Ecoboost engine. These EB engines run very dirty and the meth will keep your valves clean and the motor running longer! You don’t have to run a crazy big nozzle either. If you run water/meth with a small nozzle you don’t need an expensive kit either.

From my experience, IC and DP aren't a really needed unless you upgrade the stock turbos.
