So, I am rebuilding an intake to put on my car while I remove and rebuilt the current one on the car. So, I have all the needed gaskets and I have a question concerning the secondary runner gaskets. The ones of which 4 are required for one intake. One goes between the intake and the horn and then one goes between the horn and the secondary butterflies. Anyway, one side of this gasket is smooth and solid, the other side is more soft and fiberous, this is true of all 4 gaskets. Is one side supposed to go a certain way, because of the ovious difference in texture of sides? Thanx, Doug

I don't think that it matters. just as long as it fits on there right all is good. In the 2 intakes I've put together recently I never paid any attention to which side was out or in.
