Hey y'all. Was curious if anyone has given the intake manifold from Paragon Autosport a try? Not sure how well performance gains would be, bit it sure is pretty and would love to see it under my hood. A bit steep on the price and would probably want to beef up internals a bit before doing so, but was curious to see if anyone had any experience with that manifold? Also curious about turbo manifolds but I'm pretty sure I read in the past that the OEM turbo manifold is pretty dang good.

Are these interchangeable between the fwd and rwd ecoboosts? It doesn't differentiate on the page. If there are fitment differences, I would say it was developed for the Mustang/f-150 just based on production numbers and potential market.

I think it's marketed towards the F150 crowd, but from what I'm looking at, I believe it wouldn't be that hard to put on a SHO. My biggest worry would be hood clearance.

Yeah I just wanted to verify that fitment at the head works and then height clearance. I know the 2 configs have differences just not sure about intake to head fitment

I do not see much clearance for the coolant tube to go under that intake. The TB is also pointed straight off that intake. I would agree this is designed with a longitudinal platform in mind.

It does seem to be a custom piece. May be able to work with them and see about modifying the design for our platform. At damn near 4k for it, I'm sure they would at least hear us out.

For the best bang for the (performance) buck, it would be smarter spend $4k on turbos than an intake. But you can save $4k and do very well with OEM turbos, intake, and injectors. See my signature.

You would likely need multiple units to get a redesign unless it is an easy modification. At $4k it might be difficult to get people to commit. Won't hurt to ask though.

To port and polish my intake manifold (requiring it to have the top cut off and then welded back on) then also for labor installing direct port meth and powder coat was about $950. The direct port meth 6 cylinder bend it yourself kit, plus solenoid, check valve and nozzles was around $450 so $1,400 for a powder coated, ported/polished with a slight reduction in runner length for peak hp in mind, with Pro Meth direct port meth plumbed and installed, ready to go. I truly love that color kinda tired of the reds, yellows and blues. I bought purple lugs- kinda nice to have a change.

there is a benefit to having individual meth injection at the intake as shown in 802's pics. airflow is uneven across the cylinders, so this makes the meth effect more predictable. but it is an expensive bit of work.

Agreed. Engine Masters did an episode on this. I would question the value of porting the intake while still using OEM valves. Without flow testing, you won't know where the restrictions are.

This particular piece is paired with the BBK 70mm TB, performance 5 angle valve job, supertech valve springs, CNC ported heads. I’m looking forward to finding out what this will do with 35 psi boost and E85 @990 lph.

I'm guessing bend a rod but I bet he's got those covered too.
35 psi and a lpfp capable of at least 990 lph would be max capacity as I’m about to jump down another rabbit hole with Fuel Safe and Aeromotive Fuel Systems Inc.

Yes the block is close decked, stock crank micro polished and WPC treated, Manley extreme duty pistons, total seal piston rings, piston pins WPC treated, Manley H beam rods, king rod and main bearings, ARP 2000 main and head studs, boundary billet oil pump gears with new pump, new timing chain and water pump components, new Ford rear main seal and main seal, WPC treated stock cams, cometic gaskets.
