I was playing under the hood of one of my cars running codes, looking for lose vac lines and whatnot. For some unknown reason I grabbed a nut driver and decided to check the clamps on the intake
(a possible vac leak?). They were actually quite loose so I hand tightened them all. Then I checked my daily driver which also had loose clamps? When I got home I checked the driveway queen and those were tight but not too tight  , keep in mind I had dismantled the intake and cleaned it when I put the MTR in about 2 yrs ago. Is this normal or a coincidence? Should they be somewhat loose or relatively tight? Being that their vac lines I would say tight but sometimes common sense does not always prevail? New clamps maybe needed?

They should be snug. If you tighten them too much, they will either distort or warp. If you aren't experiencing a vacuum leak where they seal, don't play with them. Get a spray bottle of water and lightly mist around them with the engine running. If you notice or hear a change in the engine speed, you have found a vacuum leak.
