For those of you who have pulled the engine befor. Is it easier to remove the Intake befor trying to pull it? I am in the process of pulling it apart and it looks like it may be easier without the intake. Thanks. Also what other important things should I look out for when pulling. Cutch, AC, PS???

When I pulled mine I took the intake off. It made it easer to get everything else disconnected. And I hooked a chain through the eye hook and then on the opposite corner on the block (to a bolt), with the intake on, the chain would be putting pressure on the intake.

Good luck!:thumb:

yeah when i pulled my 3.0 i took the intake off which made things very easy to get off then.
right now im in the process of removing my 3.2 atx and thats a lot harder then the mtx to pull im learning. the exhaust bolts are in a harder position and everything is more crammed up front since the engine sits in a different spot.
i dont think i would wanna pull another atx without a post jack sp i could drop the engine out from the bottom. pulling the engine from the top is more work then dropping it. but with limited equiment comes more work.
