intake coupler hoses

My current couplers for the intake are badly cracked and leaking i believe. Has anyone just chopped some radiator hose and used that instead of buying a kit? I wanna be cheap, but effective. I'm assuming the intake would get louder since my current couplers have that spacing that restricts the crossover tube airflow?

It's better to buy some from a source like www.shonutperformance.com. You'll pay for the radiator hose, spend time cutting and messing up some, then being unhappy because they're all uneven and ect, wondering why you wasted all of that time trying to be cheap. In the end, it's better to buy them!

SHO NUT will forward you to SHO Bros Garage. I bought the set from them and was pleased with the quality of the silcone hoses and the speed of the delivery. The thin-walled silcone hoses allow the use of the original hose clamps.

umm... idunno if he really wants me forcing him to ship stuff, etc, but I can't see why he wouldn't want the money..

LOUDSHO92 (matt) has some in stock. I just bought a set from him and am very happy about them.
