Congrats, fellow SHO-ite! Where's the pictorial proof :) The dropin is far more functional than the full intake, but the full intake gives you more listening pleasure. Unless you are on the hunt for that elusive tenth, you can go with the full intake. Once you get a tune, you may not notice that missing oomph as much ;)

Full intake is it for you then! Livernois (LME) & Unleashed are the two most established tuners in the EB game. Both will do "canned" tunes (very good). LME will make minor tweaks for you as/if needed, but if you really want to mine the data, you will need to datalog, and at that point Unleashed would be the choice.

Other tuners do exist, including Leading Edge Tuning, Tuning By James, etc., and I hear scattered stories of happy customers, but not the volume you get with LME or Unleashed.

The absolute best and dyno proven intake for our SHO's is MDesign carbon fiber CAI!

Yeah, go with the MDesign intake and either LMS or Unleashed. Get the 3BAR MAP sensor for another $50 and get the tune for it. Good for mid/high 12's in right conditions.

Be sure to post on EB-PF.com, that's where most of us hang out.

Not sure what you mean by "closed end." It's a perfect big round tube that allows air to shoot directly from the air scoop right into the engine. ALL other CAI are air boxes where the air gets bounced around all over the place and has to use the help of the engine sucking the air in. Go watch the MDesign dyno session on YouTube - this system blows away ALL the other ones by far!
