Just got my hands on some new Tokicos and god willing i'll be putting them on next week. I'm already running Eibachs and plan to remove 1 coil from the fronts while i have them off. What else should i or do i need to do when i put the struts on? Any upgrades i should take care of at the same time?

I'd buy a set of adjustable strut mounts, as the camber will go alot more negative. Do you have adjustable rear arms, that would be a good thing to do at the same time.

Ok, i was thinking about the adjustable strut mounts, but didnt think about the control arms. I've got the stock arms now. What should i look for?

I'd like to suggest new spring seats and boot & bumper. Can probably pass on them if yours are in decent shape.

Here's what I've used:

MOOG Part # K80146 rear
MOOG Part # K80147 front
MONROE Part # 63621

X2 on adjustable mounts. I have Ingalls on the front and OEM style generic mounts on the rear; I have a ton of front rubbing noise with the Ingalls and can feel the rubbing in the steering wheel. I remember hearing about another brand of adjustable front mounts that were better but I had already made the purchase on the Ingalls so I stuck with'm... you might want to look into the other brand. Unfortunately, I can't think of who made them.. I remember Sean buying them, what were they Sean? FPS?

RCM has TRW mounts. Are those the ones you are referring to?

So i dont need to worry about the rear mounts? Just the fronts?

Chad, are you cutting a coil just for stance? Cause my Gen 1 is already pretty low, for reference, Just didn't want you to cut 'em and not like what you've got :thumb:

Becareful where you cut those springs... make sure you don't cut them so short that the spring won't sit still when the strut is extended all the way.

Also... I'd sugguest cutting them with a band saw, or a hacksaw. No Torches, no cutting wheel... keep the heat away from them. :) Definately will need the adjustable mounts, turned all the way out, it'll be pretty close to perfect.
