Hello there !
Since I replaced my jammed up e-brake cables, I bought a remote start/alarm/starter ****
It's a nice unit that got a remote start for manual cars, 120db alarm system with 2 stage shock sensor and a starter **** relay.
I don't epect it to work like a Viper alarm, because it costed me $120, but still better than nothing and freezing my ass in the leather every morning when the seats are under 0°F.
Well, I have a pretty detailled installation manual that came with it. But I just don't know what's the wires color. I'll have to check on Mitchell tomorrow if I can find them. I mostly need to know where should I place the shock sensor in the car.
The wire to get the RPM reading is suposed to be connected to the coil, or they say a negative wire from an injector is okay ?????
I'm not gonna disable the clutch interlock switch but bybass it with a relay.
Also, I wanted to know if the wires from the Door Ajar light in the dash will work for the alarm instead of connecting every door switch (and one of them don't work (replaced the switch, nothing...)
If anybody have any tips or a simple list of wires color for the :
-Parking lamps
-Parking brake
-Brake switch
-Door ajar (all four)
-Trunk Release
-Door lock and Unlock
-ACC
-Starter
and a way to get the RPM signal from the engine.
