Josh at SHO Nut carries a complete upper gasket set which includes 3.2L head gaskets for $143.73.rktmn:
You are right Yamamha, the head gaskets are different. I called a Ford dealer and he confirmed it. However he wants $280.00 for the pair of gaskets. I have been trying to find a better price but no one seems to carry them.
Any suggestions where I could buy them for a resonable price?
The 3.2 IS for a 3.2 bore. The 3.0 fits the 3.0 bore. if you use the smaller gasket on the 3.2 bore you will expose & overheat the fire ring & burn/blowout the gasket. There is no difference in gaskets but the bore size.smacd:
FWIW, I think Fel-Pro has a replacement head bolt set that's not too much money. It may be worth replacing them to be on the safe side.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 3.0L head gasket and the 3.2L gasket? I tried the search and couldn't come up with anything. The only thing I can find different is the bore size.![]()
I realize that you can't use 3.0L gaskets on the 3.2L but what about going the other way???billyshoe

Anything you use on the threads will affect your torque readings. Do not do it on critical components.
