I just got a bid for $275 to replace one CAT.. the back one.. from Meineke.
That seems high.

Is the Cat on my 93 atx a bolt in or is welding called for?

They are putting in a universal cat.

thanks

That does sound kind of high. Was the price of the cat in that quote? It is a weld on thing.

You should be able to get a muffler shop to put in a higher flow Mustang converter for about $250 total. Buying the cat is much easier than the cutting out of the old cat and welding in the new cat.

OH you didn't know
Go to the "Exhaust Pros" on E.Colfax , ask for Ron, and tell him that Sieger (from Discount Tire) sent you. Everyone I've sent down...he's taken care of. :thumb:
