Installing 6x9's

What did you guys do to install 6x9's in a Gen 1? I thought they were 6x9's, when they areactually 6x8's, so i bought some real nice ones.

You have to open up the holes a bit. What kind of 6x9s are they? most pioneer speakers come with a template on the back of the box that you can use to traces lines onto the metal that way you know how much material to take off. if not make some templates out of carboard then trace the lines onto the rear decklid and cut.

Power Acoustiks 4 ways. They come with grills, which is going to look pretty sweet.
