Installed Al-SFBs

Installed some solid subframe bushings.. I didn't buy them new so I'm not sure what kind they are, I'm guessing they're from shonut.. they are ring style. anyways.. pics.

They didn't change handling noticably but I do get more NVH. I've driven MTX SHOs with EXTREME motormounts and al-SFBs and this seemed to be about 1/4 of that. But I could REALLY feel those bumps in the road .. I love it.

Shonut doesn't sell the ring style and never did. Just make sure you or anybody else doesn't overtorque those bolts.....

what should they be torqued at ?? if overtorqued what happens ???

also should he have the washer on there that with the recall kit???

should be torqued to 76 ft lbs IIRC. And, I guess they're midwest then since shonut makes cup style.. sheesh

my AlSFBs are made by netviper, Bruce, and are the ring style. though when mated together, they fit flush. so, maybe those are SHO-Shop ?

anywho, i have mine torqued at 80 ft lbs. been in the car for nearly 2 years and there is no deformation of the body.

We sell the cup style but I haven't updated that picture. We've been selling the cup style for awhile. With the added height in the ring it looks like those are a newer set of Bruce's bushings.

75-80lbs. If overtorqued they can cause the unibody to pull into the bushing and deform it a bit.

No, the washer is not necessary.
