White '94 ATX
I'm sure you're thinking 'Aspire?" I saw it on ebay. Autohouse9 sells remanufactured OEM head units. It arrived in a sealed Ford Box with a face cover, clear Ford tape overly to protect the display. It is tested by Ford. It looks brand new. I think they replace the faces on these. Plays CD-R's perfectly.
Jelloslug informed me these are plug and play. It beats finding a slave player and link cable. You get to keep the tray under the head unit too. The redudant controls near the instrument cluster function too. The display is blue, so it matches the interior of the SHO. FYI- Probes had blue too. Contours were green. The only downside is I having two clocks now: one on the dash, and the other on the head unit. The display can be toggled to hide the clock when playing CD's or listening to the radio. But when not using the radio or CD player and driving the clock is displayed. I think it looks nice though. The display even has the Ford emblem printed on it, so it looks like it belongs in the car. It looks and sounds good.
