I know this is probably a stupid question but here goes.
When my car doors are locked and I go to open the drivers door, I have to pull the handle twice for it to open. It seems like the first pull unlocks the door and the second opens it??
It doesn't matter if the car is running or not.
I do have a 5 speed and did the auto lock mod on it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Mine does the exact same thing..when you doors are unlocked, pull the handle out a little bit (not opening the door) and then hit the lock button...it will pull the handle in.

I do believe that there is a tab or something on the inside of the door that causes this to happen...It didnt do it when I got the car, and one day I yanked on it a bit too hard or something and I heard a noise, and its done it ever since...been to lazy to fix/look at it.

(I have the auto-lock mod done before and after, I believe it has nothing to do with it.)

Hmmm..

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll look and see if there is a screw missing....it just started about a week ago or so ago...

My SHO does this, and started out as the 1 pull 2 pull open. Now it takes 3 -4 times before the handle grabs and opens the door. It's kinda annoying.
