I've seen the posts on the forged pistons, to someone who doesn't know the typical works to upgrading turbos has anyone upgraded injectors in the 2010 taurus, what mods should be done before turbo upgrades in order for the car to stay reliable and a daily driver minus time in the shop itself.

The crank is forged and will hold a lot, Livernois developed the forged piston because that appears to be the weak point. Nobody has blown one from to much power (that I know of) but I am guessing guys are getting close.

One of the guys that are ripping off low 12s may chime in, but as EcobrickBob stated in your other post the injectors are not the prob. Rather getting the injectors enough fuel at high rpm. In general I have seen many guys use the Kenne Bell booster or something similar to keep their fuel pressure up.

Hope you or somebody runs 11s in one of these, that would be awesome! These are front biased AWD systems so as Bob also eluded traction will be an issue. I am thinking of trying 4 soft summer tires in the spring (if I get with the Methanol kit). Some guys use drag radials on front but it reminds me to much of honda civics at the track :)

IIRC, the connecting rods are powdered and in most cases is what would be the first to let go when much more power is provided.
